Description: In a covered space of a palace, Krishna sits on a roll cushion, in front of him on the left a young woman crouching, both hands stretched forward against each other; behind her against the wall a lighted oil lamp; on the left in front of the wall of the palace three women, the front one dancing, the middle one playing a drum and the back one holding a bowl, above the wall of the palace a night sky with a crescent moon. Around the scene two rushes in frame lines, one yellow and the outer, broader red; the dome roof of the palace and the third woman on the left are painted partly over these rushes.
