Description: Archers' piece of the corporal company of captain Jan Claesz Vlooswijck and lieutenant Gerrit Hudde, from the Kloveniersdoelen in Amsterdam, 1642. The captain and lieutenant are seated, around them are the archers, in the middle the ensign. Presumably they are in front of the brewery 'De Zwaan'. The archers are: Jan Witsen, Hillebrant Bentes, Andries Dircksen van Saane, Jan Bentes, Willem Simonsz Moons, Jan Huybertsen Codde, Roelof Roelofsen de Lange, IJsbrant van de Wouwer, Johannes Looten, Ulrich Petersen, Jacob Bleyenberch, Pieter Harpertsen, Pieter Tonneman, Evert Huibertsen Krieck, Hendrik Jansen van As and Nicolaes Kuysten. The archers are armed with pikes, halberds, lances and rifles.
