Description: The swearing in of the peace treaty between Spain and the United Netherlands in the Town Hall of Munster, May 15, 1648. Central around the table are the envoys of both parties: Gaspar de Bracamonte y Guzman, Count of Peñaranda, Antoine Brun, Barthold van Gent, Lord of Meynerswijck, Johan van Mathenes, Adriaen Pauw, Frans van Donia, Willem van Ripperda and Adriaen Clant.
