Description: Still life with fruits and vegetables with Christ and the Emmaus disciples in the background. In the foreground of a kitchen, all kinds of vegetables (asparagus, broad beans, peas, carrots, artichokes, cucumbers, beets, a pumpkin, green cabbages, onions and turnips) and fruits (apples, cherries, gooseberries, apricots, pears, berries, raspberries and grapes), are displayed in baskets. In the kitchen, two maids are at work. Behind them, through raised curtains, the biblical scene can be seen.
